Discovering the Ancient Egyptians

On Tuesday 4th July, Year Four had a trip to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) in Exeter to discover all about the Ancient Egyptians. They took part in five different activities during the day that included: learning how to play a board game called Senet, handling artifacts and finding out what they were used for, taking part in the re-enactment of the ritual of mummification using a life sized fabric doll and going on a hunt around the museum for different animals on show that the Ancient Egyptians worshipped. We had a great day and learnt so much from all the helpers at the museum. Thank you RAMM!
